Children and teenagers require at least 30 minutes of physical activity each day – but the majority of Canadian youth are not active enough to meet this standard. Youth require physical activity not only to maintain their health, but to build confidence and character.

“P.L.U.S. Zone” stands for “Positive Learning Using Sports.”  This Zone is aimed at improving physical health and athletic ability, as well as teaching the values of teamwork, respect and perseverance.

The P.L.U.S. Zone reaches 160 youth annually.
