More than 30% of Quebec youth reach the age of twenty without
receiving a high school degree. So many youth give up on their education
because they lack the emotional and academic support that they require to
succeed.

The Tutoring Zone provides elementary and high
school students with a safe and comfortable place to focus on their
homework.  Tutors provide remedial help
in subjects such as math, science, English, French and history, helping
students to expand their knowledge, and improve organizational skills and work
ethic.  Academic improvement helps these
youth develop confidence in themselves and their abilities, and encourages them
to become committed to their own success.

This program reaches approximately 60 kids annually.
